is that a triforce hole in the roof to make a triforce sunlight pattern?! because it looks amazing, I'd upload a screenshot of something I've made but the server isn't up at the moment.

I'm planning to make something epic tho... haven't the faintest idea how I'm going to do it but I shall!

really? that was my first thought but, isn't that land in the picture? it looks like the light is on top of the land, which is what made me think it was filtered sunlight... :S

the pattern, if you actually looked at the picture, is a precise triforce despite the fact that it was over both water and land, it honestly looked like a plausible hole in the ceiling, i didn't think it was likely, but it does look like it. in reality it was just lightstone that was showing up somehow because of something kism was doing with a mod or mods.

excellent nintendo 8 bit work there derr, got any more planned? a yoshi perhaps?

The area of light given off by light objects is very precise. Same too with the type of light given off. You can see in the bottom triangle on the right and center that the light is closer to the surface.

The idea is like this




If that was actual daylight, the trees on the top right triangle would be a lot brighter.
